I’m not going to go so far as to say that my parents have too much time on their hands now that they’re empty-nesters, but I will, without comment, present to you, this picture, emailed to me by my dad, of a golden retriever wearing a tie. (They couldn’t get the hat to stay on.) (Their other dog, apparently not worthy of being suckered into the photo shoot can be seen off to the side).
