I’m a casual NPR listener, but this week during their pledge week….. wow. Enough already. I’m tempted to call in and pledge $100 just so I can hear what’s going on in the news.
All that to say, Slate did a really interesting article about the tactics that public radio uses to solicit pledges. It’s part psychology, part advertising, part brand management. Really interesting stuff. And please- call now.
