The Footnotes of Mad Men »
The Footnotes of Mad Men is a great, great blog. No way around it. The tagline of the blog is simply “A cultural catalog,” and it gives real examples of, well, culture from the 1960’s. Examples include real London Fog ads (for those who watched the Season 3 premiere), Heineken ads and photos of art and furniture used in the show.
The blog also includes further explanations of the cultural significance of these objects or ads in the time period. This blog is a must, must read for any Mad Men fans, or any fans of all things 1960’s.
