Oh yes. You read that right. Chess Boxing. Move over, decathlon.
Here’s how it’s played. 2 contestants sit at a table in the middle of a boxing ring, at a table and they play a round of chess. And then… they box. 6 rounds of chess, and 5 rounds of boxing.
I don’t know how I feel about this. Happy? Sad? Enthralled? Empowered? Slightly hungry?
Well, bottom line. Chess boxing exists. And we’ll just have to learn to live with it.
